What I'm doing now

Updated: 10 June 2026

Running the Edusoft platform behind UIU's UCAM Cloud (section selection portal); building products for the Bangladeshi market on the side. Not actively looking for FT work but open to advisory and architecture consulting.

  1. Day job

Platform Engineer at Edusoft Consultants Ltd. Owning the EduQueue platform — multi-provider email failover, Asynq worker pool, OTP-secured operator console, and the Discord-based observability stack.

  2. Side project

Building Smriti AI a quieter health app. Your family's health, remembered. One private place for every prescription, lab report, and visit for everyone in your family. No paper trail. No lost reports. Just calm.

  3. Open source

Maintaining DumpStation (self-hosted Postgres backup manager) and shipping small Go tools muxc (tmux session manager for Claude Code) and docpipe (HTML-to-PDF microservice with a long-lived Chromium pool). Writing about distributed systems and edge infrastructure at monzim.com.

  4. Learning

Cloudflare's data stack end to end Durable Objects for stateful coordination, R2 Iceberg + Pipelines for analytics storage, and DuckDB for query layers. Re-reading Designing Data-Intensive Applications with fresh eyes after building Drift.

  5. Reading / watching

Catching up on Tanya Reilly's writing and recent Brendan Gregg performance talks.
